Re: Free Things I love
I thought I would respond to Stack Pennies article called Free Things I love with my own list.
Free Software: I absolutely love not paying for software which is clearly shown by my desktop. I have quiet a few shareware applications that I use regularly and having to pay for them would only put a frown on my face. Don’t write off shareware as being low quality, there are a lot of good programmers out there who just don’t want to charge for their work.
Wordpress, Sitemeter and Feedburner: This somewhat ties into the first item, but I thought I would make it separate to put more emphasis on these individual sites.Without these programs, this blog would not be possible or at the very least I would not be able to see if the blog is growing.
Clean air/water: These are two things that are rather hard to live without, though I can’t admit I’ve actually tried to live without them. Its always important to respect our wonderful plant, so make sure you do your part! You didn’t honestly think this was a post without advice did you?
Wikipedia: Yes I know, another piece of software, but how can ignore such a giant database of information. There was a time when you would need to pay a hefty price and have a lot of shelf room to have access to this well of knowledge.
Samples at the grocery store: Who cannot love free food? Especially when its something you haven’t tried before. To whomever doesn’t take advantage of these, my jaw is dropped at you. These free samples are almost as good Wednesdays and that isn’t very easy to do.
What do you love thats free?
